HOTELS: The Hotels chosen were very clean, well supplied, the employees were very friendly and welcoming and attended to our every need. They were very quaint.
Breakfast was typically provided by the hotel which was a continental breakfast, simple but more than adequate.
All of the hotels were centrally located, within blocks of the city center which was walking distance to the plaza. All arrangements were made ahead of time and they were ready for us when we arrived. We were very pleased with the hotels.

RESTAURANTS: The restaurants Oliverio chose were wonderful. They were top of the line but not expensive. They often had entertainment. He made sure we knew what the local comida was so we could really take in the full cultural experience. We were always introduced to the local drinks as well.
He even made sure we sampled the local Ice Cream. Yum.

HINTS AND IDEAS: We all found out that it was best to eat a light breakfast then around 3:00 to have a big lunch and either skip dinner or have a light snack. We all felt much better that way.
We paid for our own food and extras so he was sensitive to our budget. Oliverio paid for everything else which included the tolls, entrance fees, gas and other necessary costs. A nice treat to have everything inclusive.
If it rains it is usually in the late afternoon, evening and even with that we did not use sweaters. We did have umbrellas but never used them. The weather was wonderful.70-85. The days could get warm in some areas but we were never uncomfortable in pants. Pants were the most appropriate since we visited churches often and they would prefer no shorts and tank tops. More appropriate and respectful.


Oliverio was very flexible with time but he knows enough about traffic, entrance and closing hours and other issues to keep us on a good schedule to accomplish what we needed to accomplish on a daily basis.
We felt that Oliverio was very professional, very educated and informed and felt like this was a very enjoyable experience. he has a sense of humor that we thoroughly enjoyed and would very highly recommend this tour to anyone. We would also be open to answering any questions of future travelers.

TRANSPORTATION: We had a rental that was arranged and ready for us when we arrived in Guadalajara. It was very comfortable and allowed us the freedom to go to any location. Oliverio knew his way around the cities with prepared maps and necessary information.
When we arrived at a particular location, Oliverio was always well prepared with the history and applicable information about every tourist site. He had a daily planned schedule with more planned then we could complete which gave us options and choices that allowed the tour to be very personal. He was always very flexible keeping our preferences in mind.
At the end of the tour, we chose to stay a few days longer and he helped organize a little side trip with us. That was the icing on the cake.
